Hi! Thanks for stopping by my blog. I’m a 28 29 30-year old woman living and working in San Francisco. I’m an aspiring food writer; and hope to use this blog as an initiative to cook and write more, and perhaps even form some friendships.
By day, I earn my living as the assistant director at a foreign liaison office indulge in far more laziness than should be allowed. When I’m not writing or cooking, I travel, dance, read, go on scenic hikes, or immerse myself in different kinds of music-mostly Baroque Classical or World (While on that topic, though, my taste in music is really varied-I have been known to like anything from Linkin Park to Stan Getz to Bollywood). I occasionally sketch portraits in charcoal, dabble in obscure vocabulary, and my favorite subjects/discussion topics are ethnic origins, linguistics, cognitive neuroscience, biochemistry, Renaissance art, and classical literature and music.
I am a real novice to the world of cuisine; still on the first page of the manual. I am a self-taught cook and I’m slowly getting versed in the art of buying produce and such. For the time being, I’m familiarizing myself with local farmers and their markets.
I would love to hear from people with similar tastes/interests; who enjoy food as an art, and have great food stories and recipes to share from all over the world.
